Dear Disney,

Watching highschool musical reminded me how hot zac efron is.

Highschool musical 3 reminded me of my prom too and how I struggled with getting a date.

Well I didn't really "struggle" because the guy I really like asked me to be his date. But there were so many confusion because of "outside" forces. You know how people tease you that you're a couple but you're really not and the attention you attract is so embarrassing.

I don't know what hit me but I ended up backing out as a date which in the end I realized sucked so much. So did my prom experience. Hate ittttt.

I think what hit me was pride because it sounded and looked like that I was so desperate for the guy but technically we were dates already. Wtf right. So much for pride? I don't even know if I had pride left after almost every one in the batch knew about my affections.

I hate prom but the lesson i learned from that experience was to... Screw what everyone else thinks and just follow what your heart wants.

There are still times that I think and wonder what would prom be if I didn't back out from my date.

Gahd I was so naive!!!!

I still hate prom.

Reminiscing

There are times when I think about high school. Certain things trigger and I reminisce.

My high school batchmates has a facebook group where we are able to reconnect and talk about stuff. Recently somebody reminded us of our Junior Year Cheering Competition.

To start of, our school has this yearly tradition where each batch competes with each other in a cheering competition. And that does not only involve cheerleaders but everyone. From the cheerdancers, to the props and bleachers design, to the costume and the batch performing synchronized actions while cheering to some "cheers" that focus on year level loyalty. Like, "Go Freshies" ... or "Go Sophomores" ... but this case  we were cheering as "Juniors" .. And NO. the Seniors DON'T always win.. (for the record we lost when we were seniors...lol) ...

Sometimes Freshmen beat the Seniors...

Ahhhh highschool.... Junior year was the turning point of MY LIFE.

I mean seriously...

It was the year when I came out of the open by getting to know the people I go to school with. I went social. I gain a new group of friends. Most of my close friends right now are the people whom I met during this year. Then there were other good times like prom  and joining the school's beauty pageant.

Oh yeah. scrap that. those were the memories that I don't even wanna know that exist.

DELETE and activate "selective memory"

Junior Year.

It was the year when I first fell in love. LOL LMAO. (as if) ...

okay it was puppy love and it was silly. I didn't have any boyfriend so I guess it was my first "heart break"

and again it was silly and practically EVERY one I know (and even I don't know) knew about the silly love affair and admiration and I'm embarrassed by the fact even as I type this story right now. like oh-em-gee kind of mushy feeling. blood rushing and cheeks blushing all over.. *teehee* ...

Like oh-emm-gee how can I be head over heels over that guy.

oh "That" guy.

But thank God that's all in the past now, and every one has forgotten it... (or not) .. People still tease me about it and I'm like OHHHHKAY! I KNOW! it was stupid. Get Over it. I know I have. haha.

It was really silly. So silly I didn't even know how to "hide" the admiration that it's blatantly out there. Like I said, every one i knew and people I don't even know. Obviously even that guy knew. I knew he liked me too but the thing is, he denies it. (And NO, it's not a hallucination) It's true! HAHAHAHA...

Like how embarrassing. But we're friends now and he has this own world with college friends so he barely hangs out with us anymore. (NOT THAT I WANT TO. oh please take my word for it, I'm over)

That memory is just too hilarious and unforgettable and yes, memorable.

It's a heartbreak and "tough" year I will never regret because I learned a lot of things from it.

I was able to experience what "real" highschool is all about. like boys, parties, embarrassing moments and the like.

Something I know I wont experience if I stayed in St. Scholastica's College. An exclusive school for girls (blech)

Those memories, embarrassing or not, are really good times. And I like it when I remember it once in a while because I get to appreciate the things that I have now and the person I've become. After all those really awful things I've been through I'm happy I survived it
(high school drama).

I now met a boy that I love so much and I know he loves me too. (definitely not hallucinating!)

Plus, he tries to give me everything I want and succumbs to my demands... lol =)

haha... High School. seemed it was not so long ago.
