Busy Week

Busy week in San Francisco...

Or maybe it's just me...

I was able to hook my Broken laptop to the HDTV and now I'm busy backing up files.
It was pretty cool actually, having the tv as the monitor.

At the same time from backing up files, I'm organizing my songs in iTunes because some songs didn't have titles on them (using my new laptop ofcourse). I use this cool apple application, "Sound hound" that gives you song details. All you have to do is play the music and it tells you all the details about it. Cool huh? You can even just sing or hum a song. Perfect if you have a tune stuck in your head and you dont know the title.

Anyway so I'm updating my songs... ONE BY ONE.

And categorizing them by year the song was released.

Talk about OCD

So that's my busy week :)

Retail Therapy

Apart from writing as a therapeutic outlet...

My other favorite therapy is Retail Therapy.

In layman's terms... SHOPPING.

The other day I posted about wanting to have these cute shoes I found online but didn't know where to get them.. Well, good news... I got them! ... bought them from this kind old lady whose business was to re-sell bridal or promenade shoes. She lived somewhere in the affluent neighborhoods of San Francisco and was really nice. This was her last stock! and Good thing it was my size!! how lucky and meant to be that must be!

Boyfriend and I went to JC Penny, and every time I go there, the watches always attract me. I wanted to buy one but they were so expensive!  LOL Not too expensive though :)) it's just that it wasn't practical for me because I'm technically on a "budget" and already running out of funds considering I've been in the states for 5 months already. All the money went out but no money went in. lol.

I remember buying last year during the Black Friday sale and I was able to get a good cute watch worth $12!


I gasped when saw these cute jelly sandals which was on sale from $18.99 down to, $8.99.

I LOVE JELLY SANDALS! It took me like almost half an hour to decide which pair to buy. lol .. Wanted to buy one of each color.. but like I said, my funds are limited.

We also went to best buy to use the $20 gift card I won a few weeks ago when I bought my U-draw. Turns out CD's were Buy 2 get 1 free so we ended up buying 3 new CDs. It's pretty much a good buy since technically we only paid for one CD because of the freebie promo and the gift card.

So that's about it... off to enjoy the new PS3 games we bought!

You freakingly made my day!!!!

Even though you weren't able to solve my problem about having my iPad2 shipped to San Francisco instead of Los Angeles...

You got me when you said "I'll give you a free smart cover instead".

I jumped for joy. (even though my friend told me she was going to give her smart cover to me...)

It's still different when it's really yours right? coz if it's from my friend then I will be obliged to use it.

Now I won't have to think too much that my iPad2 is lying on my bed in Los Angeles, while I'm over here in North California. And now, there's more to looking forward to!

Thank you Leo, for not only giving me the freebie but also being frank by advising not to re-route the package anymore. And NO THANKS to other customer service agents who knew nothing except to give me different stories.

But I also have to commend Nicole, for tracking my package closely and giving out efforts on contacting FedEx about my re-routing concern. Thanks, but Leo already got me with the Freebie.

ISSUE SOLVED.

and I'm officially closing the ticket number.

Now I can enjoy my Vacay in San Francisco and wait for 2 weeks before I can open my Apple Packages as if it's my birthday.
